Hi, I am Kuro or Pogof (sometimes PogofCZ).

About my names

Pogof is my gamer tag that I use since around 2012, it came about from primary school IT class when we wanted to play some online games on pogo.com, but it was blocked or not working, so we played something else and I had the brilliant idea to name myself pogo and f for my first name initial. I add CZ when the name was already taken or it was more convenient, it stands for Czechia where I am from.

Kuro is the name which most people know me by, it is really my fursona name, but it is too generic so pogof is still used for all my handles and even this website. I gained the name Kuro in 2017 when I asked my friend to draw me a fursona and I built my first ever fursuit.

About my interests

Over the years I had many interests, but I only have a few that I still actively engage in.

I am interested in Japanese culture and used to watch a lot of anime and read a lot of manga. I still do occasionally but not as much as in the past. I tried to self study Japanese but never fully committed. I would hope to return to it one day.

I used to actively play Pokémon TCG and attend tournaments. I never was good enough to win, but I had fun.

I am still actively interested in analog photography, having many cameras and even equipment and chemistry to develop both black and white and color film as well as paper! I managed to make prints of my own work for family. Unfortunately I don't have a place for my dark room at the moment, but it is in the works. I have slowed down with taking pictures recently, trying to really capture pictures that will be worth it.

My latest and greatest obsession is rhythm arcade games with my main focus on Pump It Up and In The Groove. I do play some other rhythm games too like Taiko No Tatsujin, Pop'n Music or Sound Voltex.

I am a electronic university student, I have a fully decked out electronic bench and I like to program and tinker with electronics in general in my free time.
